Skin Treatments and Skin Rejuvenation
Every skin treatment we offer in Penrith, in one place. Open any box to read what it involves, how long recovery takes and who it does not suit.
How to choose
The right treatment depends on what is bothering you, what your skin can tolerate right now, and how much visible recovery you can plan around. Most people do better with a sequence of treatments over weeks or months than with one session of any single thing.
If your concern is texture, congestion or dullness, a chemical peel is usually the starting point. If your skin is inflamed or recovering from something else, LED light therapy is gentle and sits alongside other treatments. If you have noticed laxity along the jawline or neck, TempSure radiofrequency may suit. If scarring is the main issue, particularly acne or surgical scarring, Dermapen 4 is usually where we start, because the depth can be set precisely. If your skin is breaking out right now, SQT is often the better first move, because a needling device generally cannot pass over active inflammatory acne and spicules can.
Some skin needs none of this yet. Active eczema or rosacea, recent retinoid or isotretinoin use, a keloid scarring history, pregnancy, photosensitising medications and certain bleeding or immune conditions all change the answer. We would rather rule a treatment out than talk you into one your skin is not ready for.
None of these is a single-session treatment, and collagen change is slow. We do not sell packages up front. After your consultation you get a recommendation you can take away and think about in your own time.

Chemical Peel
Controlled exfoliation for texture, tone and clarity.

Chemical Peel
Controlled exfoliation for texture, tone and clarity.
30 to 45 minutes
A chemical peel uses a professional-grade solution to exfoliate the outer layers of the skin, which prompts renewal underneath. Your clinician chooses the strength and formulation at consultation, based on your skin type and what you want to change. It is normally done as a short series rather than a one-off.
- • Treatment time: 30 to 45 minutes
- • Recovery: 2 to 5 days of mild peeling, depending on peel strength
- • Sensation: tingling or warmth during application
- • Suits: texture, tone, dullness, congestion
- • Less suited: active eczema or rosacea, recent retinoid use, pregnancy
Risks include redness, sensitivity, post-inflammatory pigmentation and, rarely, scarring. Your clinician goes through these at consultation.

Dermal Stamping with Exosomes
Micro-channels with exosome and PDRN serums, finished with LED.
60 to 90 minutes
Dermal stamping is a form of microneedling that uses a handheld stamping device to create controlled micro-channels, rather than a roller dragged across the skin. Exosome and PDRN serums go on during the session while the channels are open, and the treatment finishes with LED light therapy to support recovery.
- • Treatment time: 60 to 90 minutes including LED
- • Recovery: redness for 24 to 48 hours, make-up after 12 to 24 hours
- • Sensation: numbing cream first, then pressure rather than sharp pain
- • Suits: texture, fine lines, scarring, skin laxity
- • Less suited: active acne breakouts, eczema or rosacea flares, pregnancy
Risks include redness, swelling, bruising and, rarely, infection or pigmentation changes. Your clinician goes through these at consultation.

Calibrated wavelengths for inflammation and post-treatment recovery.

LED Light Therapy
Calibrated wavelengths for inflammation and post-treatment recovery.
20 minutes
LED light therapy uses calibrated wavelengths of light to support different processes in the skin. We use medical-grade panels delivering red light, typically 630 to 660nm, for deeper-skin support, and blue light, typically 415nm, for surface concerns such as acne-causing bacteria. It works as a standalone session or alongside another treatment. Our guide to red vs blue LED light therapy explains what each wavelength does and how a course is usually spaced.
- • Treatment time: 20 minutes
- • Recovery: usually not required, make-up and normal activity straight after
- • Sensation: gentle warmth, no needles
- • Suits: most skin types and tones, often used alongside other treatments
- • Less suited: photosensitising medications, active eye conditions
Eye protection is provided during treatment. Tell your clinician about any photosensitising medication at consultation.

TempSure Radiofrequency Skin Tightening
Radiofrequency warmth to support collagen and firmness.
30 to 60 minutes
TempSure delivers controlled radiofrequency energy to the deeper layers of the skin. That warmth supports the body's own collagen remodelling, which can improve firmness and texture over a course of sessions. There are no needles, and the device monitors temperature throughout to keep energy delivery consistent.
- • Treatment time: 30 to 60 minutes depending on the area
- • Recovery: usually not required, normal activity and make-up straight after
- • Sensation: warm, most people compare it to a warm massage
- • Suits: mild to moderate skin laxity on the face, jawline and neck
- • Less suited: pregnancy, pacemakers, active skin infection at the treatment site
Risks include temporary redness or warmth and, rarely, burns. Change is gradual and usually needs several sessions. Your clinician explains what to expect at consultation.

The needling treatments, and the serums used during them. These work by prompting the skin to repair itself, so they all break or disrupt the skin barrier and carry real risks.
Dermapen 4 Microneedling
Clinical microneedling with depth adjustable from 0.2mm to 3.0mm.
60 minutes
Dermapen 4 Microneedling
Clinical microneedling with depth adjustable from 0.2mm to 3.0mm.
60 minutes
Dermapen 4 is a clinical microneedling device that drives a single-use sterile cartridge of 16 fine needles vertically into the skin, at a depth set between 0.2mm and 3.0mm. The controlled micro-injury prompts the skin to repair, and that repair lays down new collagen over the following weeks. It has a dedicated scar setting for acne and surgical scarring.
- • Treatment time: around 60 minutes including numbing
- • Needle depth: adjustable 0.2mm to 3.0mm in 0.1mm steps
- • Cartridge: single-use, sterile, 16 needles at 33 gauge
- • Recovery: redness for 24 to 48 hours, light flaking for 2 to 5 days
- • Suits: texture, fine lines, pores, acne and surgical scarring, stretch marks
- • Less suited: active infection, active inflammatory acne, recent isotretinoin, keloid history
Microneedling breaks the skin surface. Risks include prolonged redness, swelling, bruising, infection, cold sore reactivation, pigmentation changes and scarring. Risk and recovery are discussed at consultation before anything is booked.

SQT Bio-Microneedling
Microneedling without a device, using freshwater sponge spicules.
45 minutes
SQT does the same job as conventional microneedling, without a device. Spongilla spicules, microscopic silica structures harvested from freshwater sponge, are massaged into the skin over about five minutes. They seat in the epidermis and keep stimulating the skin for up to 72 hours before shedding. No numbing cream is used. There is a visible peeling phase, so this one needs planning around your calendar.
- • Application: around 5 minutes of massage within a 45-minute appointment
- • Recovery: tingling and redness for 24 to 48 hours, then peeling for 4 to 7 days
- • Sensation: prickling and heat that builds during application and settles the same day
- • Suits: congestion, pigmentation, texture, acne-prone and acne-scarred skin
- • Less suited: active skin infection, recent isotretinoin, marine allergy, keloid history
Risks include prolonged redness, itching, dryness, a temporary breakout, irritation, and pigmentation changes that can last longer in deeper skin tones. Rarely, an allergic reaction to the spicules can occur.

Préime Exosomes and PDRN Booster
Two topical serums applied during needling treatments.
Applied within your treatment
Préime Pure Exosome Solution and Préime PDRN Booster Solution are topical serums applied during and immediately after needling, while the micro-channels are still open. Neither is injected, and neither is booked on its own. People ask what is actually going onto their skin, and the honest answer involves where the ingredients come from, which is worth reading before you book.
- • Applied topically during and after needling, not injected
- • Pure Exosome Solution: exosomes derived from donated human umbilical cord blood
- • PDRN Booster Solution: 1% polydeoxyribonucleotide from salmon trout milt, plus glutathione, hyaluronates and peptides
- • Used within dermal stamping, Dermapen 4 and SQT treatments rather than on their own
- • Recovery follows the needling treatment they are used within
These serums are used inside a treatment that breaks the skin surface, so the risks of that treatment apply. Tell your clinician about any allergy, including shellfish and marine allergy, before a PDRN-based serum is used on your skin.
